She was born on 21st October, 1970. She hails from Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State. Laudably, she bagged B.Sc in Agriculture from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1992); Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance from Bayero University, Kano State (2002); Master of Science in Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology (2007) and a doctorate degree in Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology (2015), both from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State. She is a distinctly great woman with boundless passion for education.
With infectious zest, vivacity and congeniality, she has served unflaggingly in various organisations and held several vital leadership positions. Her
trademark of impact and insightfulness has made even her best achievements a creditable norm, proving in all indubitableness that the strength of an empowered woman prevails over customary status quo and is worth lionizing. As early as 1994, she was a Manager at Saida Nigeria Ltd, Kano—unequivocally the best hand the organisation ever had. The work duration tapered to a meaningful end in 2001 when she was made the Research Assistant at Cross Border Trade Research Network, Kano. Her peerless resourcefulness and epitomic professionalism publicized the magnificence of her qualification, worth and eminence. As such, her personality and know-how were sought after amongst several organisations. From Trade Research Network, she further served as Project Officer, Outreach and mobilization, under the World Bank Assisted Poverty Reduction Project in Kogi State between 2002 and 2009; Project Officer, Gender and Vulnerable Group Mainstreaming of the World Bank Assisted Community and Social Development Project (2009-2016), and Director General, Kogi State Bureau of Public Procurement, under the administration of H.E., Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Governor of Kogi State, between August, 2016 and August, 2020. She also held a transitional position of the acting Operations Manager of the World Bank Assisted Community and Social Development Project in Kogi State, from February to December, 2015. Presently, she is the Kogi State Programme Coordinator for the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Value Chain Development Programme (VCDP), as well as an even-handedly and brainily-reputed lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, Faculty of Agriculture, Federal University, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Thus far evident, she has over twenty years of first-hand and invaluable experience in the development sector and over eight years in Management and Leadership positions. In the academic world, she also has, to her credit, over fourteen peer-reviewed journals, both locally and internationally. With reverential acknowledgement of her professional essentiality, she is a member of the Nigeria Agricultural Policy Research Network (APRNet), Agricultural Extension Society of Nigeria (AESON), and also a Distinguished Fellow and Director, Membership Services of the Institute of Organisational and Administrative Risk Management (IOARM).
She has attended several consequential trainings both home and abroad—a part of the reasons her proficiency has remained top-notch over the years. Some of these include: Training on Gender Transformation (organised by IFAD Value Chain Development Programme National Office, FADAMA House, 2021); Data Analysis for Decision Making (Coursera, 2020); Effective Public Procurement (2017); Climate Change Education ( by UNESCO, Cape Verde: 2014), Certificate in Project Management (Accra, Ghana: 2013) and many others.
